Consultancy for Makers

We support Southeast Asian artisans and small brands in presenting their work to international audiences. From adapting collections for European markets to building online shops and digital visibility, we help makers translate their craft into global presence.

Collaboration & Support

Beyond trade, we also support creative projects that share our values of craftsmanship, sustainability, and cultural exchange. This can include mentorship, small grants, or pro bono guidance for emerging makers and community initiatives.

About Us

Roots & Trade was founded in Leeds, United Kingdom, with a presence across Southeast Asia. We started from a simple idea: to reconnect people with the origin of the things they use and love.

Working between two regions allows us to bridge perspectives: we understand the European market while staying close to the sources of craftsmanship and materials in Asia. We collaborate with workshops, makers, and small suppliers across the region to identify quality, natural products with genuine stories behind them.

Alongside sourcing and export, we also offer guidance to Southeast Asian artisans and small brands interested in reaching European audiences by helping them understand market expectations, build an online presence, and communicate their craft.
